Sister served for 10 years as the receptionist in the main office at St. Marys Springs High School. She would often personally deliver supplies of clothing, food, and furniture to support families as they settled in the Fond du Lac community. Sister participated in the Foster Grandparent Program from 2004-2011, when she became a volunteer tutor. From her father, Caryl learned to love nature and the outdoors, while her mother instilled in her a love for music, dance and education. In 1962, Sister Colette was sent to Managua, Nicaragua, where she served as a teacher and missionary for the rest of her life. Martha entered St. Agnes Convent in 1945 and graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1948. Sister Patricia was a teacher for 36 years. Sister is survived by her brother Leroy Spielbauer, her sister Carol Konetzke, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered. Sister Deborah earned a B.S. Patricia was born in Riverdale, New York, on March 27, 1933, to William Scanlan and Irene Magill Scanlan. In 1969 Sister received a BS in Education from Marian College of Fond du Lac. For 14 of those years, she served simultaneously as teacher and principal in parish schools in Kewaskum and Beloit, Wisconsin, and in New Haven and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her maternal grandparents raised Marie until Anton remarried when Marie was still very young. Rose graduated from Messmer High School, Milwaukee. In the remaining years of her active ministry, Sister Martina helped those in need in a variety of ways.
